Full Job Description
Responsible for defining and maintaining architecture and technology plans, with a focus on driving modernization for, and improving automation and maintainability of, Truist's technology solutions within the Fraud, AML, and Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM) domains. Defines target architecture, sets strategy, partners with solutions architects to craft solutions architectures, and researches emerging technology/ best practices, with an emphasis on applying technology to enable business solutions. Educates and evangelizes CIAM, Fraud, & AML solutions and integrations for the Enterprise. Ensures that Truist Protection Services (TPS) solutions and infrastructure are reliable and support business initiatives and future growth, through coordination with the CIAM, Fraud, and AML engineering teams, the Truist architectural community, TPS engineering, the Cloud Platform Team, application development, and other stakeholders. Specific activities may change from time to time. 3 Guides the transformation of Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM), Fraud Services, and AML ecosystems' architecture for the enterprise, with an understanding of how to balance business agility, maintainability, and security to meet business objectives 3 Serves as the enterprise subject matter expert CIAM, Fraud, and AML technology domains. 3 Leads the development and continuous evolution of comprehensive architectural models identifying key dependencies and integration points across complex, enterprise-wide technology systems. 3 Evaluates architectural alternatives based on cost, value, scalability, and risk to recommend innovative, strategic solutions. 3 Establishes and enforces enterprise-wide technology governance, standards, and policies to ensure alignment with organizational goals. 3 Collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape security and technology strategy and drive transformational change. 3 Oversees the implementation and refinement of architecture frameworks to enable reliable, scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. 3 Optimizes existing architecture to enhance system performance, integration, scalability, and future readiness. 3 Applies expert-level technical knowledge to design and deliver complex, enterprise-wide cyber, fraud, and technology solutions with strategic impact. 3 Provides thought leadership, technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to architecture teams and technical contributors, particularly within CIAM, Fraud, and AML. 3 Monitors and reports on architecture effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with organizational and divisional goals. 3 Cultivates trusted partnerships with key Subject Matter Experts and technology stakeholders by demonstrating credibility, empathy and expertise in both business and technical domains. Facilitates alignment through clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and persuades others in the definition, adoption and implementation of architecture solutions. 3 Drives innovation and operational excellence by architecting automated solutions such as code automation pipelines (CICD), Architecture as Code (AaC), Policy as Code (PaC), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and integration of DevSecOps and governance principles into deployed solutions. Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 3 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field. 3 Minimum of 12 years of experience in enterprise architecture or related technology design roles. 3 Expert-level knowledge of architecture frameworks, principles, and best practices. 3 Proficient in advanced modeling tools and techniques for system and application architecture. 3 Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management related to technology architecture. Preferred Qualifications 3 Advanced degree or certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and information security (e.g. CISSP, ISSAP, CISM). 3 Experience with cloud architecture, microservices, digital transformation, and emerging technology platforms. 3 Familiarity with business process modeling, data architecture, integration patterns, and innovation frameworks. 3 Professional certifications in relevant technology domains. 3 Proven experience leading large-scale architecture initiatives and driving strategic technology transformation in complex enterprise environments. 3 Demonstrated experience and knowledge working enterprise-grade application architecture within multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. 3 Demonstrates strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards and frameworks utilized include (but are not limited to), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), Cyber Risk Institute (CRI), New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Controls Matrix (CSA-CCM), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and FFIEC Authentication and Access to Financial Institution Services and Systems (AAFISS).
