Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions, driving adoption of AI capabilities across business and technology teams.
- Architect and deliver scalable AI enablement frameworks, reusable components, accelerators, and reference architectures to accelerate solution delivery.
- Provide architectural guidance and assists the team in aligning architecture to business requirements. Works across the organization to foster a culture of applying applicable and relevant design patterns, in accordance with the needs of the company and guides the teams in the organization in anticipation of future use cases.
- Partner with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute high-value AI use cases.
- Drive adoption of LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI-driven automation capabilities across the enterprise.
- Provide technical leadership and consultation on AI platform strategy, solution design, governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Develop solutions leveraging document intelligence, intelligent data extraction, and workflow automation to improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote AI best practices, standards, and innovation across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the enterprise AI roadmap and ensure alignment with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Works across the organization to foster a culture of priority setting and urgency in alignment with organizational strategy. Coaches the team on making trade-offs, prioritization and managing technical debt. Identifies and manages technical and business risk.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- AI Solution Architecture experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI, GenAI, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI Frameworks, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Orchestration Platforms.
- Strong experience supporting AI/ML Platforms, MLOps, Model Lifecycle Management, and AI Governance in large enterprise environments.
- Hands-on proficiency with Python, APIs, Cloud AI Services (Azure AI/OpenAI), and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience building reusable frameworks, accelerators, developer tooling, and enterprise AI enablement capabilities.
- Knowledge of Document Intelligence, OCR, Data Extraction, Intelligent Automation, and Workflow Modernization solutions.
- Experience working within financial services or other regulated industries, including risk, compliance, and security considerations.
- Proven ability to influence executives and cross-functional stakeholders through strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills.
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00
