Job Description
Position OverviewUnder minimal supervision, this position manages the administration of the organization's prime contract and teaming subcontracts, including developing and negotiating contract changes and fee arrangements with partners and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The role provides in-depth functional support and technical guidance regarding the entire prime contracts work process. The position serves as a focal point and expert advisor to the President, Project Manager, and Business Services Director on all contract matters.
Functional:- Directs the administration of the organization's prime contract.
- Oversee the administration of the two Teaming Subcontracts.
- Administers the organization's prime contract deliverables and commitment tracking system.
- Justifies contract cost recovery, develops innovative fee and other related arrangements, and conducts prime contract negotiations.
- Leads contract changes to incorporate new scope, budget, and fees for additional initiatives.
- Maintains and demonstrates working knowledge of the U.S. government acquisition and procurement environment.
- Provides management direction, communicates best contracting practices/philosophies, and recommends negotiation techniques that are in the best interest of the organization and its stakeholders.
- Ensures clear written and oral communication pertaining to contract requirements with stakeholders.
- Serves as an expert advisor to top-level organizational management on all business or policy matters pertaining to the prime contract, particularly on sensitive topics involving problem resolution and audit issues.
- Acts as the clear focal point for all prime contract-related communications between the organization and the DOE, and coordinates closely with the Business Manager.
- Guarantees all project deliverables are completed timely and accurately.
- Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Contracts Administration staff, including directing training and professional development.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of related government contract administration experience, or an equivalent
