Women's Health Opportunity | San Rafael, California

Practice primary care in one of Marin County's most welcoming communities while playing a meaningful role in advancing women's health across the MarinHealth network.

This unique opportunity is based in San Rafael, offering easy access to Mount Tamalpais, coastal trails, and vibrant local culture including seasonal community events-all just minutes from San Francisco, the wine country, beaches, and more.

In this role, the physician will provide primary care in San Rafael while also supporting patients in MarinHealth's OB/GYN clinics. You'll practice alongside high-functioning, engaged teams that value connection, learning, and shared purpose. This is an excellent fit for a physician who enjoys caring for women across the continuum and wants to integrate primary care with procedural women's health services in a collaborative practice environment.

The women's health component of the position includes a minimum of 0.1 FTE within the Women's Health department and includes gynecologic evaluations and office-based procedures such as Pap smears, endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, cervical polyp removal, contraceptive management including Nexplanon and IUD insertion, and STI evaluation and management.

This physician will also serve as a liaison to the Primary Care team on women's health issues, helping strengthen collaboration across specialties and supporting high-quality, coordinated care. The role includes participation in the monthly OB/GYN department meeting, offering an additional opportunity to build relationships and contribute to a highly integrated care model.
