The primary work location for this role is Berwyn, Boston or Raleigh with a hybrid work model or remote for other east coast areas.

The Team You'll Join

The Pricing Governance Lead will join a highly collaborative and growing team responsible for driving disciplined, scalable pricing across customer deals. The team partners closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Finance, Legal, and Product to ensure pricing decisions are consistent, well-documented, and aligned to strategic objectives.

How You'll Contribute

Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to establish competitive pricing strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion. Develops product and client focused analysis to support pricing models, guidelines, and deal structures. Supports complex proposals and leverages competitive and market intelligence to inform bid strategy and commercial decision making.
• Leverages business, finance, pricing and product knowledge to support proposal structuring and agreements.
• Provides guidance and strategy options to Sales, Relationship Managers, service line management and business development teams for financial modeling and pricing.
• Develops, implements and maintains pricing and related tools and capabilities to help business stakeholders understand complex financial models and how they apply to specific scenarios.
• Recommends and drives new product monetization approaches aligned to the overall business pricing strategy.
• Contributes to development of business cases to facilitate understanding the impact of strategic pricing recommendations.
• Recommends pricing and related strategies that portray value, drive client purchasing decisions and instill confidence in company products and services.
• Oversees Deal Desk operations, including pricing governance, approval workflows, escalation thresholds, and documentation standards to support efficient, consistent, and compliant pricing decisions.
• Partners with Product, Sales, and Go-to-Market teams to evaluate non-standard pricing requests, coordinate approvals, and align pricing strategies with product packaging and value positioning.
• Develops and maintains reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators that provide visibility into pricing effectiveness, discounting trends, renewal performance, and overall price realization.

What You'll Need to Bring
  • Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field required, advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
    • Experience building and improving pricing governance (e.g., approval frameworks, escalation paths, controls, and documentation standards).
    • Strong business judgment and executive communication skills; able to synthesize complex deal tradeoffs into clear recommendations and influence outcomes.
    • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI (or similar) is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves
  • SaaS, fintech, wealth management, or enterprise technology experience.
  • CPQ implementation experience.
  • Built pricing dashboards/metrics (discount waterfall, renewal uplift) and turned insights into action.
  • Supported renewals/retention motions (discount governance, uplift strategy, pipeline hygiene).

Our Investment in You

This role offers a base salary range of $108,000 to $135,000. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
