Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Pricing and Business Analyst will support the Pricing Director in executing global pricing, promotion and any other initiatives.The Pricing & Business Analyst maintains and update pricing processes, implement pricing initiatives, prepare analyses and reports, and ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, finance, and order management. The role requires strong business partnering, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables by working with various organizations.
Pricing Operations & Governance:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely communication of approved price lists, promotion and any other pricing initiative
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global pricing inquiries, managing and resolving pricing-related questions through coordination with CRE sales, R&D Define, Order management, and sales operations
- Perform the initial pricing review of promotion proposal with the geo teams
- Create promotion in the ordering system
- Work closely with the geo promotion testing team to resolve any implementation issues
- Gather business insight from each geo to include in the pricing initiative analysis in addition to using actual data
- Maintain pricing processes' documentation, ensuring consistency across systems and geos
- Review the portfolio set-up in the system for each new reseller to ensure contract compliance
- Assist with the partners' annual distribution agreement review and audit post-mortem implementation in the ordering system
- Audit the resellers price lists to ensure any changes in product offerings
- Deal specific support around renewals and large complex transactions
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Order Management teams to ensure pricing consistency and compliance
- Support preparation of materials for Pricing Committee and leadership reviews
Analytics & Reporting:- Prepare recurring pricing dashboards and business performance reports
- Support ad-hoc analyses for pricing reviews and management meetings using Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
- Support pricing and business model review of new products by providing competitive analysis and business insights using historical data
Process Improvement:- Identify inefficiencies and process misalignment to propose improvements
- Monitor and support any IS requirement for simplification / process improvement
Qualifications:- 3+ years' experience in a highly analytical environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data analysis, modeling, Pivot Query, dashboards)
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or reporting is a plus
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear and executive-level presentations
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write, modify, and optimize queries for data extraction, reporting, and analysis. Ability to create complex SQL queries using joins, aggregations, subqueries, and data transformation logic
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal tools and systems such as dashboards, Iterop, and other business applications
- Experience with data visualization or BI tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to manage pricing-related requests with speed and accuracy

Salary Pay Transparency
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $103000 and $120000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
