Position Summary

Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace's Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Tested, proven and trusted in commercial and military applications for decades, MFCD provides precise position-control actuation solutions for military aircraft across the United States and with foreign partners. The division's JetPipe4 electrohydraulic servovalve (EHSV) technology is used across commercial and military aircraft around the world. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the Military Flight Controls Division is the global leader in fly-by-wire flight control systems and electrohydraulic products and offers the world's most advanced motor design capabilities for flight controls.

SUMMARY:

The Pricing Analyst I is an entry-level pricing role with primary duties involve proactively analyzing and making recommendations considering customer value-based marketing, competitive markets, and company costs affecting the business plans and profitability across the division, incorporating program aspects to support decision-making processes that will impact our long-term future.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Design and implement continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to eliminate waste and improve processes.
  • Works with other functions in design and implementation of systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assist in analyzing product markets by determining the ceiling and floor prices of products.
  • Evaluate cause and effect with pricing, volume, cost, competition, distribution, and segmentation. Recommend appropriate levels.
  • Monitor and keep divisions focused on corporate strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Create and reinforce continuous feedback vehicles to encourage successful pricing models.
  • Implement tools to use by product managers and field sales.
  • Assist divisions in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication and publication of price increases.
  • Analyze the exception pricing process by recommending guidelines, authority levels and maintaining a disciplined and structured approach to exception pricing.
  • Provide management with reports which allow management to effectively respond to changing economic conditions and market changes. Performs ongoing measurements and report on pricing effectiveness.

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $70890 to $117300 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
