The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Integrated Prevention Specialist (GS-0101-11) to work at the 27 Special Operations Wing (SOW), Office of the Installation Commander - Installation Integrated Resilience Office (IRO), Cannon Air Force Base (AFB), Clovis, New Mexico.
Salary Range: $74,678 - $97,087 per year based on experience.
Depending on the type of position you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

Qualifications/Requirements:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve at an Air or Space Force installation. Major responsibilities include completion of administrative functions, budget execution, and implementation of primary prevention education and training for the total base population. Also works collaboratively with installation Integrated Resilience Office (IRO) partners to coordinate and integrate prevention activities to effectively prevent negative outcomes associated with sexual assault and harassment, family violence (including intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect), workplace violence (including harassment, bullying and hazing), suicide, and alcohol abuse and/or misuse prevention, hereafter referred to as self-directed harm and prohibited abusive or harmful acts.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain & maintain a "Secret" Security clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required credentials for the position.
Incumbent must meet screening/suitability criteria listed in Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) guidance.
Degree Requirements:
Degree: At least a bachelor's degree in a behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR
Combination: Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR
Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Required Core Competencies:
Prevention Policy & Principles: Comprehensive and professional knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies as well as behavioral, social science and/or public health practices principles and theories relating to the prevention of violence, promotion of help-seeking, and resilience.
Delivery Systems: Thorough knowledge of a wide range of delivery systems relating to violence prevention and the multiple uses of such systems.
Curriculum & Instruction: Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training outcomes.
Office Automation: Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents, such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
HIGHLY DESIRED:
Knowledge and experience within primary prevention.
Master's degree or higher in a behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
