Overview

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The Preventative Maintenance Planner position is responsible for the administration of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program using HLMI Work Control Processes and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) at the 222-S Laboratory. Applies knowledge of Work Control Planner principles and practices in assignments and related work with attention to detail.

  • Prepares, tracks, and controls PM work orders required to meet PM schedule deadlines.
  • Generate work package documents and permits in accordance with work control standards and procedures.
  • Conducts Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) meetings and collect Subject Matter Expert approvals.
  • Ensures accuracy of work package prior to field work.
  • Interfaces with various work groups to ensure all supporting documents are accurate and current.
  • Generates material requisitions (MR) for upcoming PM work and ensures parts availability prior to working.
  • Performs post reviews of completed work packages and participates in PM feedback and improvement process to ensure any issues found in the field are resolved prior to next PM performance.
  • Ensures completed packages meet close out criteria and are ready for scanning.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and 2 years practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning is required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Maintenance or construction craft experience, or Field Work Supervision experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning at 222-S Laboratory or Category 2 Nuclear Facilities is desired.
Compensation

Grade 14: $81,168 - $94,013

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
