Site Preventative Maintenance Engineer

About the job

This position is responsible for managing the Asset Reliability Management Program (ARMP) strategies to maintain steel producing equipment and facilities, minimizing downtime, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Preventative Maintenance Engineer will report to the Corporate Preventative Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities
• Drive ARMP initiatives to include Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tracking, autonomous maintenance, RCA, preventative maintenance, and outage scheduling.
• Manage CMMS Coordinator and Reliability Engineer
• Maintain maintenance-focused KPIs for the facility.
• Manage special initiative projects under the direction of the Corporate Preventative Maintenance Engineer.
• Periodically travel to other Universal sites to become knowledgeable in the performance of preventative maintenance activities and develop best practices.
• Ensure that preventative maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Create, distribute, and update guidance documents for preventative maintenance practices

• Knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM platform is a strong plus.

Compensation: $100,000-120,000 plus benefits.
