DescriptionThe President of CenCore Industries carries full P&L accountability for the subsidiary and reports directly to the CenCore Group COO. This is an enterprise leadership role-not a plant manager with a bigger title. You will own the manufacturing operation and build the organization around it: the culture, the executive team, the workforce pipeline, the operating systems, and the external reputation that makes CenCore Industries the manufacturer customers seek out and competitors study.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD - A production enterprise that delivers on time, on spec, and at scale-across three sites in Utah, Colorado, and South Carolina
- A technology-forward manufacturing operation grounded in Industry 4.0: automation, IIoT, digital twins, and AI-enabled quality-as an operating philosophy, not a project backlog
- A leadership team and workforce development program that builds the next generation of manufacturing leaders
- An external presence: CenCore at industry conferences, in university partnerships, with state economic development agencies, and as a voice in the standards that shape our industry
- An enterprise operating system-disciplined cadences, data-driven decisions, and management infrastructure that scales with the company
- A safety-first, quality-obsessed culture that people want to work in and that customers trust without question
Requirements- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership; 5+ years as a multi-site GM or President with full P&L ownership
- A demonstrated builder's track record-you have established things that did not exist before, not just run what you inherited
- Domain experience in modular construction, data center manufacturing, defense systems, or secure/accredited facility production
- Fluency in modern manufacturing: Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), Industry 4.0, EHS leadership, and ISO quality systems
- Experience in defense or government manufacturing environments; familiarity with FAR/DFARS, domestic sourcing requirements, and supply chain assurance
- B.S. in Engineering or related technical field required; MBA preferred. Security clearance preferred; U.S. citizenship required
- An executive who leads from the factory floor-visible, trusted, and present at every level of the organization
