Job Title: Predictive Maintenance Specialist| Location: Portland Cement Plant CO, Chicago Office IL, Hagerstown Cement Plant MD

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

This role can be located in any of our Cement Plants: Ravena, NY; Portland, CO; Midtholian, TX; Ada, OK; Theodore, AL; Bloomsdale, MO; Hagerstown, MD; Paulding, OH or Chicago, IL (Corporate Office).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will serve as a lead in the deployment of technologies that realize a new era of maintenance. This position will leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of maintenance operations by developing and implementing digital tools and platforms and analyzing maintenance data to drive continuous improvement and support predictive maintenance strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Implement digital tools to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Ensure that the latest and most effective condition monitoring practices are fully integrated in the NA preventive, predictive, and prescriptive maintenance strategy.
  • Support the integration of predictive maintenance strategies using data analytics.
  • Consciously strive to improve our IoT (Internet of Things) plant landscapes by finding better and more cost-effective technologies and suppliers.
  • Monitor and refine digital maintenance systems concepts to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
  • Shape new opportunities supported by business cases, identify their potential impact on maintenance, and translate them into digital solutions.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to maintenance teams on new digital tools and processes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree or 15 years of equivalent experience

Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineer

Required Work Experience:
  • 10 years of Maintenance experience in planning big repairs and work orders, notification BOM, etc. creation. Inventory management in heavy industry or cement.
  • Must have understanding how equipment operates in a cement plant


Travel Requirements: 20%

Additional Requirements:
  • RCA skills for detection of mechanical or electrical failures in heavy industry machines
  • SAP PM - Maintenance transactions (work order creation, notifications, BOM, inventory management)
  • Maintenance scheduler & planning
  • Knowhow in maintenance inspections in heavy industry
  • SAP transaction and experience in data extraction
  • Maintenance performance reporting and cost calculations
  • Vibration analysis certification (min CAT 2, preferred CAT 3)
  • Oil analysis knowledge

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
