Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, and/or 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Proven experience managing preconstruction for various project types.
• Experience with subcontracts and managing subcontractors and/or self-perform work.
• History of leading teams and developing employees while nurturing external relationships.
• Self-starter with high motivation.
• Strong communication skills to build trust and influence diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid preparation as 'Bid Captain' and manage estimate process meetings.
• Build and nurture relationships with owners, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage project budgets effectively.
• Ensure project qualifications meet contractual obligations and coordinate legal document submissions.
• Oversee development and execution of preconstruction and construction schedules.
• Support training and development of team members while managing safety and compliance programs.
• Organize and present project documentation and deliverables to owners.
• Participate in design meetings, offering solutions and assisting in design choices.
• Contribute to prequalification processes and manage project buyout logs.
