What you will be doing:
Model, design, and prototype high performance linear and rotary motion systems.
Develop,build, and test precision mechatronics subsystems.
Use analytical and numerical methods for design decision making.
Drive concept generation and design trade off studies to balance technical challenges and customer needs.
What you will need to be successful inthis role:
Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent
Experience with high precision mechanical hardware is required.
Experience in either precision machine design or motion control is required.
Willingnessto grow in areas such as vibrations, controls, and Electromagnetics.
Experience doing finite element analysis.
Knowledge of MATLAB or LabVIEW and Python.
Enjoy hands-on challenges, collaboration, and delivering great results.
Experience with CAD and a passion for design.
Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel dependent on business needs (not to exceed 20%).
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Base Pay Range: $97,000.00 - $164,900.00 Annually
Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
