Precast BIM ManagerLocations: Chicago (Naperville), Nashville (Brentwood), Salt Lake City (Draper), Denver, Winchester
AG&E Associates is expanding, and we are seeking a driven Precast BIM Manager to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to lead BIM coordination, modeling, and standards development for precast projects while managing teams and supporting high-quality project delivery.
What You Will Do- Lead BIM modeling efforts for precast erection plans, components, connections, details, and piece tickets
- Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, and MEP models and drawings
- Collaborate with precast manufacturers and internal engineering teams
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, processes, and best practices across projects
- Oversee preparation of project documentation in accordance with company standards
- Review and ensure quality and accuracy of work performed by BIM staff
- Support business development efforts through modeling and presentation materials
- Manage project schedules, deadlines, and team workload
- Mentor and provide guidance to Precast BIM Specialists and BIM Technicians
- Manage BIM staff and support team performance and development
- Participate in training, seminars, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work under the direction of precast engineers and support project coordination
What You Bring- Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent industry experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience producing precast documentation
- Expert proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla
- Advanced knowledge of office software including Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction and technical documents
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and coordinating workflows
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills
