Overview

Seattle Kids Dentistry is seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as our Practice Manager for our Seattle, WA office!

As our Practice Manager, you'll partner closely with Doctors and leadership to keep daily operations running smoothly and the office performing at its best. You'll balance people, processes, and performance-creating an efficient, well-organized practice while supporting a positive and collaborative culture. This role plays a key part in bringing our business model, values, and operating standards to life while ensuring consistency, compliance, and a great experience for both patients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and collaborate with executive leaders to align operational strategies and organizational goals.
  • Partner with doctors and field operations to diagnose issues, identify opportunities, and develop corresponding action plans.
  • Employ structured and repeatable management processes with team to drive operational effectiveness and growth.
  • Optimize processes with further development of documented standard operating procedures and organization.
  • Facilitate open communication channels to ensure that insights and feedback are shared effectively, driving informed decision-making.
  • Advocate for necessary resources and support when necessary.
  • Coordinate effective and comprehensive onboarding for new staff.
  • Advise and train staff on operational policies.
  • Set clear expectations with the team; provide regular feedback, partner on professional development plans, and inspire team to achieve goals.
  • Track key performance indicators for the office, including patient experience, and develop actionable strategies for improvements based on findings.
  • Optimize financial performance by identifying and supporting organic growth initiatives while managing controllable costs including non-doctor staff costs and variable operational expenses.
  • Maintain a front-line obsession and promote an exceptional patient experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous operational experience, dental preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, or another related discipline, or commensurate work experience from on-the-job management/ leadership training.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving top and bottom-line growth, with proven success in expanding production and overall business performance.
  • Proven experience in managing teams.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a passion for growth.
  • Provide development opportunities for staff members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and delegate multiple tasks.
  • Competency in using business software such as Microsoft Office and related platforms.
  • Experience managing a P&L and baseline understanding of core financial metrics.
