Job Summary

The Practice Manager (PM) works collaboratively in supporting center operations and financial performance. This position works in conjunction with all staff to achieve an effective and efficient center operation, including developing operational and financial targets. Manages day to day operations, materials, and fiscal resources allocated to the clinic. The PM partners with the Chief of Service and/or Medical Director and nurse leadership to ensure that good standards for patient satisfaction and quality care are consistently met.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with specialty in healthcare, public administration, nursing, or related field
  • MPH, MHA, MSN or MBA and experience in ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Three (3) years management experience in healthcare setting required.
  • Membership in a professional organization such as Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) or American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) certification is strongly encouraged.
  • Knowledge of budget, billing, finance and manged care rules and regulations preferred.
  • Previous experience working with a speciality clinic highly preferred
  • Previous practice management experience highly preferred
