Job Description Summary:

The Practice Leader manages and provides operational leadership to assigned areas of the MarinHealth Medical Network Ambulatory Clinics ensuring they meet the MarinHealth enterprise-wide goals and initiatives of safety, affordability, quality, satisfaction, and access. Plans and organizes operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care consistent with best practices. Proactively manages policy and procedure, guaranteeing compliance with the clinic, affiliates, vendors, the MarinHealth enterprise, and state and federal regulatory agencies where applicable. Takes a strategic and tactical approach in identifying best practices, standardizing workflows, and proposing plans of action to implement changes. Implements and manages capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets through the effective use of personnel, resources, and supplies. Develops and maintains a solid partnership with internal and external peers, leaders, and/or regulatory agencies to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives or solve issues. Provides guidance and/or direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex situations with an empathetic and solution-based approach. Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

Pay Range:
74,880 - $81,682 - $112,320

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of operations in the ambulatory setting and how the department
  9s process/workflow impacts other area
  9s operations throughout the Network.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable state, federal, state licensing and other local regulations as they relate to ambulatory settings is required.
• Ability to form relationships with physicians and medical directors, as well as, other key company contributors.
• Proven leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
• In-depth understanding of operations and clinical workflows.
• Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
• Ability to build and establish effective working partnership achieve business objectives.
• Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.

Preferred Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge/experience with electronic medical records or practice management systems. Use of EPIC/APeX software a plus.
• Proficiency in MS office products

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor
  9s: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years
  9 supervisory and/or management experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting, including but not limited to, budgets, fiscal management, and revenue cycle.
