Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Practice Administrator. This position is r esponsible for daily operations management and supervision in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Duties include but not limited to:
  • Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating practice functions in relation to IPM and UHS vision, mission, goals, values and policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, vendors, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations.
  • Primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum.
  • Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and always maintain appropriate confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must attend mandatory meetings.
Qualifications

Experience/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Minimum Five (5) years healthcare supervisory experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, EMR systems Medical and billing terminology and revenue cycle operations
  • Knowledge of healthcare or hospital office settings
  • Service excellence, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current CA Drivers License.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in using office equipment such as fax machine, copier and telephone system.
  • Works in a well-lighted, OSHA Standard environment.
  • May be in contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances.
  • Occasionally subject to irregular hours.
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
