Full Job Description
Responsibilities

The Director of Nursing has 24 hour a day seven day a week responsibility for treatment services provided for inpatient programs. The Director of Nursing promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required, MSN preferred.

Experience: Prefer 5 years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population, 3 years previous clinical supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting and administrative/ management experience.

Licensure/Certification: Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, American Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate preferred.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
