Practice Administrator Position Information Make the difference as a Practice Administrator with BayCare Medical Group. In this leadership role, you will provide operational oversight for assigned practices of varying complexity, supporting more than 10 assigned practices or more than 20 physicians. This opportunity is ideal for a healthcare operations leader who is experienced in physician practice management, financial and regulatory oversight, team leadership, and supporting high-performing practice operations. Job Title: Practice Administrator Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes Shift Hours: 8am-5pm Position Summary
  • Provides management and leadership of assigned practices of varying complexity that support more than 10 assigned practices or more than 20 physicians.
  • Oversees utilization management and daily business operations, including financial, operational, administrative, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assists the Director, Operations BMG with operating budgets, capital budget requests, new practice setup, physician and staff onboarding, physician departures, office moves/closures, peer mentoring, and special projects as assigned.
Required/Preferred Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business required; Master's degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in medical group management, healthcare leadership, population health management, or transformation leadership.
  • Preference will be given for physician practice-specific health delivery experience.
