Full Job Description
SUMMARY

Manages the operation and profitability for a smaller size or single operation within the Oil Field Services or Inspection business. Provides day-to-day leadership to a team of technical specialists directly or through supervisor. Oversees workflow and ensures customers are regularly updated on progress of assignments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the overall profitability and financial performance of the location, including preparation, completion, and timely submission of all required financial reports.
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget and ensure achievement of financial targets, including DSO and other agreed KPIs.
  • Ensure accurate administration of the Order Management System and SAIL.
  • Act independently and make sound decisions within company policies, applying expertise to resolve complex operational and financial issues.
  • Lead, motivate, and provide direction to supervisors, technical specialists, and staff.
  • Manage and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews, including assessment of training, development, and resource needs.
  • Ensure employee compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, work habits, and performance expectations.
  • Maintain all required quality control and compliance documentation, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Ensure operations are performed in accordance with customer instructions, the Global Safety Manual, local safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and ensure completion of required technical, safety, regulatory, and compliance training, including applicable examinations and certifications.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of inspection and laboratory test results.
  • Maintain and grow strong customer relationships; serve as a point of contact for updates, inquiries, and complaint resolution.
  • Market company services locally and support sales and business development activities.
  • Prepare technical, financial, and workforce-related proposals for management review as required.
  • Ensure local operations are aligned with company strategy, policies, and operational objectives.
  • Provide input into operational policy development, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
  • Advise the Area Manager on financial, operational, and performance-related matters.
  • Perform other duties as required to support safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • University Degree in Business or Related Field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within Oil Field Services or Inspection industry

  • Pass the drug and alcohol test specified for safety-sensitive employees.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and test or smell. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
