Job DescriptionThe Power Platform Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 technologies. This role is focused on hands-on delivery, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications and workflows that support business processes.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities, and the ability to work with business users and technical teams to convert requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities - Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions to support business process automation, collaboration, and reporting needs.
- Build and enhance Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, BPF, Dataverse, and SharePoint-based applications based on approved requirements.
- Work with stakeholders and senior team members to understand requirements, clarify scope, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
- Create and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, pages, permissions, views, content types, and site components.
- Customize and troubleshoot SharePoint Online solutions, including SPFx components where required.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate flows, including automated, scheduled, instant, and approval-based workflows.
- Support integrations using standard and premium connectors, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other approved enterprise systems.
- Assist with testing, deployment, documentation, and production support for Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.
- Troubleshoot application, workflow, permission, and data-related issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
- Use PowerShell where needed to support SharePoint Online administration, automation, reporting, and maintenance tasks.
- Follow governance, security, data loss prevention, environment, and solution management standards defined by the organization.
- Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 development practices.
QualificationsQualificationRequired- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or SharePoint Online.
- Experience building Canvas Apps, Power Automate flows, and SharePoint Online solutions.
- Experience with Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse tables, forms, views, business rules, and basic security roles.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint lists, libraries, pages, permissions, metadata, and site structure.
- Understanding of Dataverse, connectors, Power Platform environments, and solution packaging.
- Ability to troubleshoot application, workflow, data, and permission-related issues.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with senior developers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
Desried- Experience with SPFx development, TypeScript, React, REST APIs, or Microsoft Graph.
- Exposure to Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Runbooks, or other Azure-based integration and automation services.
- Experience using PowerShell for SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 administration tasks.
- Familiarity with governance concepts such as DLP policies, environment strategy, permissions, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to support citizen developers and promote reusable, maintainable solution patterns.
Working ConditionsThis position is considered office work and is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
- Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
- Work surface is stable and flat.
