What You Will Do:We are seeking a Power Platform Developer and an Innovation Specialist to support an effort for a CBP client to provide an executive level office with enhancement and operations& maintenance services for a suite of existing Power Platform tools that include Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. These tools using SharePoint as the backend
Responsibilities:- Record Information System - Provides the office with a centralized and standardized method for managing (add, review, update, track) record metadata and tracking records/inventory related-activities.
- Conference Automation Tool: Allows agency wide users to submit conference requests, estimates, and actuals to the executive level office. Provides the agency with a way to review, approve, track, and manage conference data in accordance with Department and Agency level guidelines, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Standard Operating Procedure Portal: Provides office users with a tool to create, maintain, and receive leadership approval for office and division SOPs. Allows office and division leadership to review and approve (new/updated) SOPs. Provides the office with a way to manage and track approved SOPs and flags the office when an SOP is due for an update in accordance for Agency level guidelines and policies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of records, inventories, conference requests, and SOPs, including creation, maintenance, reviews, approvals, and updates while ensuring compliance with established business rules and records management requirements.
- Configure and support workflow automation, task routing, approval processes, audit trails, and role-based access controls to improve operational efficiency, accountability, and governance.
- Maintain system data integrity and transparency by capturing approval histories, status changes, user actions, and records schedule information, while supporting reporting, analytics, and data export capabilities.
- Administer conference management processes, including capturing and validating budget estimates, travel requests, and actual expenses, while facilitating approvals, tracking outcomes, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
What You Will Need:- Minimum of TWO (2) years of professional experience
- Clearance: Public Trust
- Citizenship: US Citizenship is required
- Education: US equivalent Bachelor's degree required
- Hands-on experience building Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, and Power Automate workflows end-to-end, including intake, routing, approval, and notification patterns
- Experience configuring SharePoint as a structured document repository, including metadata, libraries, and permissions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Forms and its integration with Power Automate for intake and routing scenarios
- Ability to build polished, production-ready UI/UX for non-technical executives and front office users
- Ability to work effectively within an agile sprint model, including participation in planning, reviews, and iterative delivery
- Ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders, including requirements gathering, demos, and milestone reviews
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Prior federal environment experience
- Experience with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI for document summarization, classification, or task prediction
- Power BI dashboard development and integration with Power Platform data sources
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 G5 licensing and available capabilities
- Azure infrastructure or architecture knowledge
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and environment management
- Azure DevOps and Git source control
- API and third-party integration experience
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
