Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with expertise in Power Apps to help modernize critical business systems for a federal agency, improving how the agency reviews and accounts for important financial transactions. By updating legacy workflows into secure, digital solutions, your work will directly support operational efficiency and transparency. You will serve as a key link between regular compliance needs and reliable, modern applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • System Modernization: Design, build, and improve secure Power Apps to help replace legacy tracking systems, keeping user access safe and data reliable.
  • Process Automation: Help simplify workflows by setting up automated processes, custom connectors, and data links between different systems and databases.
  • Release Management: Use standard application tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub to manage version control, track changes, and deploy software updates smoothly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, analysts, and agency staff to turn everyday business requirements into clear development steps and useful documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship required (dual citizens are ineligible)
  • This position will require a Public Trust background investigation
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 8+ years of technical experience focused on developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power BI
  • Clear experience building and delivering software systems within a federal agency environment
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, relational data, and connecting apps to external data sources through standard or custom connectors.
  • Direct experience managing software lifecycles and deployments using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within standard Scrum or Kanban teams to deliver regular software updates.
  • Microsoft technical certifications or Agile scrum credentials.
  • Experience writing clear system guides, notes, and reusable design patterns.
Position: Power Platform Developer
Location: Washington, DC (fully remote)
Base Compensation: $120-150K DOE**
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
Paid Time Off: 16 days PTO/year, 11 holidays/year
