Job Summary
The Lead Power BI Developer will support the VISION - CWIS FACS Conversion Initiative, which involves migrating critical program data from the GCP BigQuery environment into the enterprise SQL data warehouse and modernizing legacy reports on the Power BI platform. The role will serve as the technical lead for the Power BI development team, guiding the design, development, testing, and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to reporting, governance, security, accessibility, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, redesign, and modernization of legacy reports into Power BI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a team of 4+ Power BI developers.
• Collaborate with business partners, data engineers, and ETL developers to ensure accurate data sourcing from BigQuery data marts.
• Develop visually effective, accessible, and standardized reports aligned with agency reporting and accessibility requirements.
• Ensure Power BI assets follow established governance, security, and documentation standards.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across reporting products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, verify data elements, and support enterprise reporting needs.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and support materials.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools.
• Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively address both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of data models, data visualization best practices, and enterprise reporting standards
