Full Job Description
Providing solutions for BI through Power BI
  • Review the data model and propose periodic changes for the data model to support the reports coming out of Power BI. Review the scalability standpoint by doing data increase analysis.
  • Develop roadmap and strategy for the migration of reports and constantly provide inputs to BI teams on the latest features to be used in Power BI
  • Design for Semantic layer which can be used for Self serve reporting capabilities.
  • Responsible to create scalable data model which can support Analytical and profiling needs in the enterprise.
  • Building Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in data-specific roles.
  • Performance tune the long running reports
  • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills
  • Analytical and Communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Building Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Develop new applications, components, or modules to meet functionality requirements. Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
  • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
  • Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
  • Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
  • Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
  • Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.
