POSITION OVERVIEWReporting directly to the IT Director, we are seeking a Power BI Developer responsible for transforming raw business data into interactive dashboards, reports, and insights that support decision-making across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Gather and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and maintain data models (star schema, semantic models)
- Connect and integrate multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, databases)
- Use DAX and Power Query for calculations and data transformation
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security (row-level security, access control)
- Optimize performance of reports and datasets
- Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, business leaders, analysts)
- Document solutions and provide user training/support
- Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting platforms
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
Experience- Minimum of 8-10 years experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred)
- Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Power Query (M language)
- SQL & data querying
- Data modeling & warehousing concepts
- Integration with tools like: ERP systems (e.g., Epicor), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), SharePoint / cloud data source
- Understanding of APIs and data pipelines
- Microsoft certifications (nice to have)Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Understanding and translating technical concepts to non-technical information and audiences.
- Strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skill; drive for automation and simplification.
- Business acumen (understanding KPIs, operations, finance, etc.)
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
