Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Power BI Application Developer to join our team and deliver modern Business Intelligence solutions that transform data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reporting solutions while collaborating with business and technical teams to support data-driven decision-making.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office and/or the client office a minimum of one or two day per week, subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Create visualizations, KPIs, and paginated reports using Power BI and related tools.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and integration from multiple data sources.
- Optimize report performance while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
- Support the deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of BI solutions.
- Provide end-to-end application development support, including environment troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, KPIs, and paginated reports.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration from multiple sources.
- End-to-end application development experience, including deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and environment support.
- Experience optimizing report performance and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of SSRS and Report Builder.
- Experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
