WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a
Post Occupancy Project (POP) Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the team responsible for all post occupancy projects throughout North, South and Central America. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the client, providing technical oversight and leadership for all POP projects including team moves or expansions, site/partial site decommissioning, lifecycle replacement of aging devices, and complex device failure remediation projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Project Management & Intake- Review and evaluate Data Classification Attestation Forms (DCAFs) to determine required security hardware packages and applicable standards. Assess project scope against client security standards and identify gaps.
- Provide scope guidance to requesting teams; escalate exceptions and business justification requests to Area Security Managers as required.
- Validate VAR quotations against approved scope, security requirements, and budget expectations.
- Manage project scheduling, status tracking, critical deliverables, and Scopes of Service documents for integrator SOWs.
- Evaluate SOW responses and prepare recommendation reports, including evaluation criteria and scoring.
Design & Technical Oversight- Conduct security site evaluations and review design documentation for compliance with published security requirements, technical standards, and installation standards. Redline and log issues as required.
- Review Lenel programming matrices prior to Helpdesk submission - verify device addressing, port assignments, naming conventions, and system linkages against client standards.
- Validate camera programming matrices, coordinate IP assignments, and verify connectivity, image quality, and VMS integration during commissioning.
- Review and approve Security System Modification (SSM) requests for access control changes, ensure proper routing through Security Management, badging, and technical approvals.
Client Engagement & Service Delivery- Own and maintain POP Ticket Maintenance SLA performance; both First Contact (FC) and Regular Update (RU) metrics - at or above contractual targets.
- Manage the live SIM-T POP ticket queue: triage, assign, track aging, and enforce weekly update cadence compliance across the team.
- Review monthly ticket performance metrics, distinguish system-attributed exceptions from genuine failures, and document root causes and corrective actions for any missed targets.
- Maintain SLA performance data for MBR/QBR reporting. Provide trend analysis, performance narratives, and recovery plans when applicable.
Construction, Facilities & Field Coordination- Serve as the primary security liaison for Facilities Project Managers on post-occupancy modifications, ensuring timely SecTech engagement prior to procurement or work authorization.
- Support management of scope boundaries between SecTech Design & Construction and General Contractor responsibilities, reinforcing adherence to defined security standards.
- Identify and escalate unauthorized or out-of-scope security work performed without SecTech engagement, supporting resolution and remediation efforts.
- Track and report scope deviations and absorbed out-of-scope work on a periodic basis to support visibility and continuous improvement.
- Support on-site inspections, installation oversight, and final acceptance testing to confirm compliance with design requirements.
- Coordinate the delivery of shop drawings and close-out documentation from integrators and contractors.
- Support site activation activities across stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedule, quality, and operational readiness.
Management- Lead, mentor, and manage team, ensuring all program commitments, deliverables, and reporting requirements are met.
- Evaluate performance on a regular basis: provide performance reviews, set professional development goals, and make recommendations for promotion or reward.
- Develop and maintain client and project-specific training materials to ensure consistent team execution and standards alignment.
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Experience: 8+ years of project management experience, with a significant portion of tenure spent as a consultant, integrator, or technical end user.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge:- Detailed knowledge of access control system hardware, wiring standards/practices, installation methods and programming.
- Experience leading security design and installation projects, ideally with a focus on corporate office core/shell and tenant fit out projects.
Skills:- Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard, with experience performing basic programming functions is a plus. Certification in either S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems is preferred.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit or other design tools is a plus
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project, SharePoint and QuickBase
Abilities:- Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
- Demonstrated ability to follow and implement client design and installation standards, and to serve as an advocate for those standards when working with external design teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team, acting as a role model while guiding, developing, and mentoring others

WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW:- We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Seattle, WA, USA or Sunnyvale, CA, USA
- This is an embedded position with a minimum 3 days/week in-office requirements and will work directly with our client
- This position requires the ability to travel internationally up to 20%

Salary Description
$120,000 - $135,000
