Job Description:Assists in the design, development, and implementation of translational research proposals, protocols, and procedures in alignment with institutional scientific goals. Constructs detailed experimental plans, outlining methodology, study timelines, and required resources in collaboration with scientific leadership. Implements research protocols by coordinating with cross-functional research teams and ensuring adherence to established processes. Collaborates with biostatisticians, investigators, and core lab personnel to design, execute, and evaluate robust and reproducible experiments. Supports the collection, processing, and interpretation of data generated from laboratory investigations, clinical studies, and research cores. Monitors the progress of research projects and makes necessary adjustments to protocols and procedures. Analyzes research data and contributes to the interpretation of results to inform scientific conclusions and guide future research directions. Prepares and submits scholarly publications, abstracts, and final reports for scientific dissemination and presentation. Presents research findings at seminars, department meetings, and external conferences under the direction of scientific mentors. Fosters academic and research collaborations by engaging with internal teams and external partners on shared scientific initiatives. Ensures that all research activities comply with local, state, federal, and institutional regulations and ethical standards. Provides guidance and technical support to research staff, students, or interns involved in protocol-specific tasks and study execution. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of the development and operation of clinical and basic science research protocols [Required]
- Knowledge or experience in investigator-initiated research in a clinical - translational research setting [Preferred]
Education: Field of Study: - MD and /or PhD in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or exercise science Required
Work Experience: - Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience [Required]
- Proven history of NIH, Pharmaceutical and/or equivalent research [Preferred]

Pay Range:$79,402.93 - $147,697.47
