OverviewA lab in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Division is recruiting a
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work on a MAIT cell project. The candidate must be proficient in immunology, flow cytometry and have extensive experience in experimental immunology. In addition, the candidate must be responsible, organized, and self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage time and experiments.
Responsibilities- Work with human tissues.
- Perform in-depth characterization using high parameter flow cytometry.
- Perform data analysis and prepare reports/manuscripts.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Must hold PhD in immunology.
- Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panels.
- Experience with establishing mouse tumor models.
- Must be willing to work with human samples.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- The candidate should have a proven track record of publication and strong written communication skills.
- Must be independent, show initiative, willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities, and be a team player.
- The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multitask and to work within a very collaborative environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
