Primary Responsibilities:
Quantinno is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Portfolio Strategist to join our fast-growing firm. The Portfolio Strategist role is responsible for ensuring that client portfolios are aligned with their objectives. Portfolio Strategists are experts on Quantinno's products and capabilities and will work closely with clients and the Portfolio Management team to develop optimal client solutions and insights. Additionally, the team is involved in different stages of the investment process, including performance monitoring and attribution. This role is ideal for individuals who possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a strong desire to work in an agile, fast-paced investment environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client questions requiring analysis or complex customizations
- Translate clients' needs into actionable items for portfolio managers and traders
- Conduct custom portfolio analysis to address questions from clients and senior investment professionals
- Collaborate with other team members to support the investment process and client service
- Communicate analysis and insights to portfolio managers and senior leadership, producing clear, actionable reports
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field
- 2-5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in a client-facing and analytical role in investment management or related industry
- Proficiency in Python, with experience with Pandas and data analysis preferred
- Experience with version control (Git) and working in a collaborative development environment is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset and can adapt to complex and evolving scenarios
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical topics to clients and internal stakeholders
The salary range for this role will be between $125,000 and $175,000 per year. This position is onsite located in New York, NY. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and other benefits eligible to employees. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
