As a Portfolio Manager, you'll oversee a team of Property Managers and support staff while driving operational excellence across an assigned portfolio. You'll serve as the first point of escalation for complex issues, monitor key performance indicators, develop team members, and ensure our clients and residents receive best-in-class service.
What we offer:- Base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000

What you'll do:- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Property Managers and support staff while holding team members accountable to performance expectations and KPIs.
- Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with property owners, address escalated concerns, and support client retention initiatives.
- Property Operations: Oversee portfolio operations, ensuring maintenance, leasing, compliance, and resident relations activities are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Maintenance Oversight: Monitor outstanding work orders, vendor performance, preventative maintenance programs, and resolution of high-priority issues.
- Leasing & Occupancy: Review vacancy reports, support leasing strategies, and help ensure efficient move-ins, move-outs, and property turnovers.
- Financial Management: Assist with budget oversight, invoice approvals, expense management, and portfolio profitability goals.
- Onboarding & Transitions: Support the onboarding of new properties and assist with client transitions when necessary.
- Leadership: Partner with company leadership on hiring, training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need:- 5+ years of Property Management experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Strong coaching and team development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Availability after hours/evenings as needed
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Property Management or Real Estate License preferred
