The position of
Portfolio Manager will serve as a key support resource for the portfolio management team in the day to day activities of the portfolio. In this position you will coordinate and help process payoff requests, invoice requests, and other servicing inquiries from within WSF and our external partners. You will respond to partners email requests and provide timely follow-up to our partners to ensure accurate resolution of all servicing matters.
What You'll Do - Monitor the WSF Portfolio specifically focused on accounts that are past due and be required to oversee and/or supplement collection calls with sub-servicer (Orion First) and other WSF Master Servicers to manage all delinquencies for the division. Work directly with the SVP of Portfolio Management in order to determine priorities and approaches to the various collection challenges on an individual contract basis and with the individual Master Servicers.
- Minimize bad debt that had been previously written off that still requires needed "behind the scenes" due diligence to ensure our policies and procedures are adhered to without exception. Responsible for creating/maintaining bi-weekly reports to department's officer(s).
- Share responsibility for any accounts that may become part of a bankruptcy ensuring tight follow-up on past due files (bi-weekly reports, co-hosting monthly scheduled and ad-hoc meetings) including yet not limited to New Debtor in Possession files - Chapter 7, 11 and 13. Assist with internal departments, agency on file, internal legal department, assigned trustees and outside counsel. This includes the management of liquidations and receiverships.
- Manage the reporting of affected portfolios in "identified" Natural disaster areas as they occur (Emergency orders by state, parish or by postal code) Managing communications, reporting, Risk Rating and Loss Mitigation.
- Prepare, analyze and monitor various reports including but not limited to monthly risk rating and risk rating validations reports, daily lease pool activity (particularly as it pertains to accounts being monitored by the sub-servicer Orion First and their collection Activities).
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in collections
- Computer Skills - Excel, Microsoft Suite
- Bachelor's degree Preferred

CompensationThe estimated salary range for this role is $71,000 - $92,000 along with eligibility to earn incentive. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
