ThePortfolio Manager primary purpose is to ensureobjectivesrelated to credit underwriting and internal portfolio management are met, in addition to supporting the workflow of the Commercial Team of RMs and commercial lending associates. This position will provide approval within established guidelines for daily credit/portfolio administrative activity. ThePortfolio Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities.Primary responsibilities for this position will be that of Underwriting and Portfolio Managementandexecutionof 1A risk management activities in a manner consistent with CIBC27s risk culture.

You demonstrate experience in Commercial Middle Market and/or Mid-corporate Banking, demonstrated business development skills, and a solid understanding of financial statements and account principles including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis. You have experience managing the credit quality of a portfolio of commercial banking clients that have credit needs.

You have a degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

You have demonstrated a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking including experience in client relationship management and formal credit training.
You have demonstrated experience in loan structuring and business development.

Completion of Commercial Banking Training Program or equivalent is desirable.

This role has an expected salary range of $150,000 - $170,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
