What you'll be doing

As a Portfolio Manager within CIBC's Specialty Finance Unit, you'll play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of diverse specialty finance clients. You'll collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and the Diligence Team to ensure client needs are met, while actively driving new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include direct client interactions to strengthen relationships and manage risk for the bank, as well as representing CIBC at conferences and client visits. You'll also work across various areas of the bank, including senior management and Credit Risk Management, to support the growth and success of the Specialty Finance portfolio.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $135,000.00- -$155,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
