Portfolio Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio management, financial operations, reporting, and governance activities. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to portfolio leaders, helping drive visibility into financial performance, resource planning, project health, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced Power BI reporting capabilities and experience managing budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and portfolio metrics. This role also requires light project management skills, including coordination, action tracking, meeting facilitation, and helping drive initiatives to completion.

Most importantly, the successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate as a collaborative partner across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into portfolio performance, financials, resource utilization, and project health.
  • Manage and track portfolio financials, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Support purchase order (PO) creation, tracking, reconciliation, and financial management activities.
  • nalyze portfolio data and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Support portfolio governance activities, including status reporting, KPI tracking, action item management, and leadership updates.
  • ssist with resource planning, capacity management, and portfolio prioritization activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, track deliverables, manage follow-up actions, and help drive initiatives forward.
  • Partner closely with portfolio leaders, project managers, finance teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Support monthly and quarterly planning cycles, budget reviews, and forecasting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, financial controls, and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
