OMERS Alternative Investments, part of OMERS Global Credit, manages a scaled private credit portfolio across direct lending, strategic partnerships, and other alternative private credit strategies. As the platform grows, there is an increasing need for robust investment data, analytics, reporting, and operational infrastructure to support front-office decision making and portfolio management.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded individual to join our team in a newly created position at the Analyst (Associate) or Senior Analyst (Senior Associate) level. This individual will operate at the intersection of investing, portfolio analytics, and operational execution, helping to enhance the team’s reporting capabilities and data intelligence. The successful candidate will work closely with investment professionals, finance, operations, and technology teams to support the evolving analytical and reporting needs of the private credit program.
This role operates at the intersection of investing and data operations, translating complex data into executive-facing analysis and reporting; will take ownership of the design and enhancement of portfolio analytics, reporting frameworks, and investment decision-support tools across a growing private credit platform; and will be fully embedded in investment team and deal lifecycle, including investment diligence, onboarding, portfolio monitoring and performance monitoring.
You will be responsible for:
Portfolio analytics, reporting and reconciliation: Support the production, validation and delivery of investment performance, portfolio characteristics, analytics and related reporting outputs
Act as the primary bridge between the Investment team and key external stakeholders across Data & Technology, Risk, Finance and Operations to resolve complex data and system issues, improve data quality, and enhance reporting infrastructure across the private credit platform
Lead data validation and quality control processes by reconciling accounting, holdings, performance, and analytics data, investigating discrepancies and exceptions, and coordinating solutions with stakeholders
Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using Python, SQL, and related tools to improve the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of reporting, reconciliation, and monitoring processes
Produce executive-ready presentations and analytical materials that synthesize complex investment, valuation, and performance information into clear insights, and decision-support content for senior stakeholders
2+ years of experience in portfolio analytics, investment operations, performance measurement, finance, accounting, or consulting
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data, analytics, and technical concepts into clear business insights, while effectively translating business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and reporting solutions

The expected salary range for the Analyst position is $100,000-130,000 per year.
The expected salary range for the Senior Analyst position is $120,000-150,000 per year.
