Population Health Data AnalystA day in the life.As a Data Analyst with the Planning & Analytics for Total Health (PATH) team at Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating healthier work populations for our clients. Your day will involve assisting in the extraction, aggregation, and quality assurance of data from multiple sources to support client and operational reporting. You will also engage in developing and executing analytical and research activities, providing senior client teams with critical insights for strategic decision-making regarding healthcare utilization and costs. Additionally, you will research and implement innovative methods for medical cost management and benefit design, while delivering actionable reporting and analytics that demonstrate the value of PATH's services to employer clients.
Our future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- 3-5 years in healthcare analytics/informatics and report development and/or 3-5 years working in a data warehouse environment (Artemis Health, Cotiviti, SCIO, Springbuk)
- Experience working with managed care enrollment and claims data
- Great communications skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful information in reports/presentations of various internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledgeable of data privacy standards and HIPAA requirements
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Strong knowledge of the dynamics of group health benefits
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience preferred; preferred degree types: health sciences, information technology, statistics or other related field
