You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the company's Political Action Committee (PAC), including managing receipts and disbursements processes, budgeting, PAC donor engagement and benefit programs, database and vendor management, data analytics, and goal-setting
  • Partner with the Legal team to ensure full compliance with federal and state campaign finance laws and reporting requirements and adherence to internal policies, procedures, and standards
  • Develop and lead strategy and execution of PAC fundraising campaigns, donor servicing, and employee engagement and education, including developing creative approaches to increase awareness, participation, and sustained involvement
  • Engage with senior leaders across the enterprise to promote the PAC, advance fundraising campaigns and provide educational information on priorities
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities that advance Government Affairs and advocacy priorities, including fundraising events, team culture and team-building events, educational programs, and other employee-facing activations
  • Develop, lead and execute internal employee grassroots efforts around priority policy issues, advocacy campaigns, and key moments, including mobilization strategies, communications, calls to action, and opportunities for employees to participate in a compliant and appropriate manner
  • Build strategic, scalable employee engagement programs and toolkits that equip leaders, ambassadors, and employees to participate effectively in PAC, advocacy, and team initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Communications, Legal, the People Team, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders to align employee engagement activities with enterprise priorities and ensure a consistent employee experience
  • Lead the process for the company's political expenditures in close collaboration with Government Affairs Leadership and federal and state advocacy leads
  • Develop executive-level deliverables, including key messaging, presentations, engagement plans, and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Closely monitor external developments related to corporate political engagement and employee advocacy, including best practices in corporate political giving and grassroots engagement, peer-company approaches, and trends in media, social media, and stakeholder commentary
  • Establish goals and measures of success for PAC and employee engagement programs; analyze participation and engagement data and use insights to improve future campaigns, events, and outreach
  • Advance and support timely Government Affairs projects in support of the company's advocacy priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in PAC management, government affairs, political fundraising, campaign management, employee engagement, public affairs, or a related field
  • Experience planning and executing employee-facing events, fundraising activities, engagement campaigns, or grassroots advocacy programs
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and adaptability in a highly dynamic external and internal environment
  • Proven solid understanding of the political and public policy environment and the role of employee engagement in advancing organizational priorities
  • Ability to be highly organized self-starter and problem-solver, with an ability to manage multiple workstreams and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization and effectively collaborate with team members, senior leaders, and functional departments
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling employee-facing messaging and calls to action
  • Proven highly effective project and event management skills with solid attention to detail and the ability to manage programs from concept through execution and measurement
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to create and edit key deliverables


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in operational processes and protocols, including leveraging technology to streamline process and maximize efficiency
  • Experience in event and meeting planning, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person employee experiences
  • Experience in public affairs, communications, employee engagement, grassroots advocacy, corporate governance, or related field
  • Experience developing employee ambassador, volunteer, or grassroots networks and activating them around priority issues or key moments
  • Experience creating engagement strategies that connect fundraising, advocacy, culture, and employee communications
  • Proficiency with PAC software, campaign management tools, grassroots advocacy platforms, or employee engagement technologies
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Adobe, InDesign, or similar communications and design tools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $134,600 - $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
