Job Description
Weare looking for a Podiatrist to diagnose and treat minor or seriousinjuries and diseases of the feet, ankles and the lower part of legs.
Podiatristresponsibilities include conducting foot and ankle surgeries,prescribing orthotics and applying therapeutic treatments for issueslike arthritis, fractures and feet corn and calluses. To be consideredfor this role, you should have a doctoral degree in Pediatric Medicineand practical experience in a clinic or hospital.
Ultimately,you will give our patients the best treatment based on their conditionand help them recover as soon as possible.
Examinepatients' legs to diagnose diseasesPerformfoot and ankle surgeries (for example, removing bone spurs)Treatsport-related foot and leg injuries, like fracturesUsevarious pediatric techniques (like casting and laser therapy) to treatdeformities and ailmentsPrescribejoint pain relief medication and foot carthorses that improve mobilityReviewpatients' medical historyAdvisepatients on foot care and general wellness practicesOrderadditional medical tests (like X-rays, ultrasounds and bone densitytests) to form a better diagnosis if necessary
Requirements
Experienceas a PodiatristExcellentknowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremitiesFamiliarwith all types of foot problems including genetic abnormalities and deformitiesGoodinterpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both withchildren and the elderlyEmpathyand patience when dealing with serious diseasesUp-to-datewith latest technologies and treatments in PodiatryDoctoraldegree in Podiatric Medicine
