Job SummaryThe IT PMO Manager is responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving project management practices across the IT organization. This role drives consistent project delivery, ensures alignment with business objectives, and optimizes resource utilization. The PMO Manager oversees the IT project portfolio, standardizes processes, and enables successful execution of strategic initiatives through strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities - Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, governance structures, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid); define policies, standards, and best practices aligned with organizational strategy
- Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution of IT initiatives; monitor project health, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery
- Provide executive-level visibility into portfolio performance through dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, and strategic reports; enable data-driven decision-making
- Partner with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and executive teams; facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and escalation management
- Lead resource planning, forecasting, and utilization across projects; optimize team performance and resolve capacity constraints in collaboration with functional leaders
- Support project managers with tools, templates, coaching, and best practices; proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues across programs
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and PMO analysts; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Oversee implementation and optimization of PMO tools and systems (Microsoft Project, Project Center, Azure DevOps); ensure effective adoption and utilization
- Drive PMO maturity assessments and continuous improvement initiatives to build and scale project management capabilities across the organization

Basic Qualifications- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology or Business Administration
- 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management or leadership roles
- 2+ years of capital budget management experience
- Demonstrated sucess managing large, complex IT portfolios

The salary range for this position is $119,000 to 186,000 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
