The base salary range for this position is typically $110k to $115k with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
Position Overview The PMO Manager is a delivery leader responsible for managing Project Managers and Project coordinators supporting medium-to-large service accounts, overseeing multiple sub-projects and deliverables. Serving as the escalation point for PMs and PCs responsible for client scope, time, cost, quality, communication, risk and stakeholder management. This role ensures integrated program delivery that adheres to PMO best practices and standards, while providing delivery leadership and functional coaching to project teams. The PM Manager\Delivery Services integrates deeply into supporting the delivery team that integrates with the client's environment, gains institutional knowledge, and drives the success of service delivery against client and Insight business objectives. This role combines proven operational leadership with program management expertise to deliver strategic, measurable outcomes for Insight clients.
What you'll do at Insight - Plans, creates, and manages program-level budgets and financial strategies, tracking metrics, forecasting trends, and ensuring financial accuracy across all sub-projects against signed SOW commitments
- Manages and communicates all revenue timing changes and their impact on program financials, driving monthly P&L reporting with the account team and regional management
- Reviews and integrates the scope of all sub-projects into a unified program scope baseline, partnering with pre-sales post-signature to align on contracts, budget, and timeline for successful delivery transition
- Applies expert knowledge of contract structures, lead times, and obligations to protect program scope and commercial terms, evaluating and authorizing or escalating scope change requests against contractual, schedule, and financial impacts
- Ensures SOW reviews and standard project launch activities are completed for each sub-project, establishing internal team alignment and appropriate client expectations across the program
- Ensures weekly schedule maintenance across all sub-projects, validating integrated program milestones against the master timeline and coordinating resource sharing to maximize program-level outcomes
- Defines and enforces governance standards across the program, ensuring sub-project reporting compliance, communication alignment, and delivering clear data-driven program health updates to executive stakeholders on a defined cadence
- Chairs executive steering committees and program governance reviews, defines escalation criteria and processes, and develops organizational change strategies to support program and business outcomes
- Establishes program-level risk assessment strategies, monitoring and intervening early on risks and issues across all sub-projects, and holding all project PMs accountable for documenting, mitigating, and closing risks within their projects
- Incorporates consolidated risk and issue status and escalation actions into all program governance reviews, ensuring recommended resolution paths are in place before issues reach executive leadership
- Serves as the executive-level relationship owner across the program, managing sponsor expectations, navigating organizational challenges, driving client satisfaction, and positioning Insight as a long-term strategic partner
- Partners with Sales and account leadership to identify, qualify, and support strategic account-growth opportunities while maintaining delivery governance
- Develops a program strategy and provides delivery-led leadership to project teams, communicating a clear program vision, influencing cross-functional teams around shared delivery objectives, and developing future PM leaders through functional coaching and capability-building initiatives
What you'll need to join Insight - At least 5-8 years of leading Program/Project Managers, including at least 2+ years leading complex programs or multi-workstream engagements. Experience in IT services or technology deployment environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with proven strategic leadership ability
- Strong analytical skills - able to synthesize complex program-level data and translate into executive-level insights and decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes across large, complex programs
- Demonstrated ability to influence up and down across organizational levels and across business units
- Demonstrated commitment to customer care and client satisfaction at an executive relationship level
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel (formulas, charts, filters, data sorting), Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) or Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) - one required
Nice to Have Qualifications - ITIL Practitioner or Intermediate
- PM Change Management certification
- Experience in IT services or technology deployment environments
