Job DescriptionThe role: PMO Center of ExcellenceThis role will focus on advancing a
PMO Center of Excellence for Design & Construction, working with the design and construction team to focus on standards, tools, and resources necessary to drive consistency across the department.
Responsibilities- Organize and host the PMO Center of Excellence, coordinating the development of a governance framework that promotes consistent project delivery across Design & Construction.
- Drive process standardization by defining structured workflows for the Design and Construction group to evolve governance requirements, roles, responsibilities, and project controls documents.
- Support the development of standardized documentation by structuring best practices with the Design and Construction team to deliver templates, tools, and processes.
- Partner with the teams and SME's to establish methods to improve standard project controls, including schedules, budgets, reporting, compliance documentation, risk management, and performance metrics.
- Establish documentation standards to ensure Design & Construction platforms are consistent, efficient, intuitive, and structured to enable effective reporting and portfolio-level visibility.
- Partner with a Community of Practice to drive the develop practical playbooks, implementation guides, and tools that translate PMO standards into consistent day-to-day execution.
- Distribute standards, playbooks, templates, and training materials to ensure internal teams and external partners understand and consistently apply PMO governance requirements.
- Promote adoption and organizational capability through supporting training and knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement, reinforcing consistent PMO practices across the department.
QualificationsRequired Minimum Education: University/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Project Management focusing on Real Estate and design and/or construction.
Required Years of Related Experience: 5+ years' work experience project management controls, owners representation, project communications, with a clear understanding of the project process, controls and compliance.
