PMO Analyst, Reporting & Analytics (Power BI)
Position Summary
The PMO Analyst is responsible for supporting project management governance, reporting, resource management, and executive decision-making through the development of Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions. This role partners with project managers, portfolio leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights related to project performance, resources, financials, risks, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Reporting & Analytics
- Using PMO and Project Management experience, recommend reporting and dashboards to achieve program objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and scorecards for PMO and executive leadership.
- Create portfolio-level reporting on project status, schedule performance, budget adherence, resource utilization, risks, and benefits realization.
- Automate reporting processes and reduce manual reporting efforts.
- Develop KPI frameworks and performance metrics aligned with PMO objectives.
Project Management Support - Support project management office governance activities and reporting cycles.
- Analyze project health and identify trends, risks, and issues requiring management attention.
- Maintain project data quality across reporting platforms.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting materials.
Resource Transition Reporting - Develop resource transition planning dashboards.
- Develop team transition status reporting as they relocate into a Global Capability Center
- Monitor resource allocation, utilization, and transition.
- Partner with PMO leaders to identify transition delays and gaps
Data Management - Integrate data from tools such as Rally, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Excel.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Develop data models and reporting solutions using Power BI and Power Query.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years of PMO, project management, business analysis, or reporting experience.
- 3+ years of Power BI development experience.
Strong experience with: - Power BI Reports and Dashboards
- DAX and Power Query
- Data Modeling
- Excel and Advanced Analytics
- Experience supporting PMO processes, project governance, and portfolio reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications - PMP, CAPM, or PMI-PMOCP certification.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Project Online, Project for the Web, Rally, or ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of portfolio management and resource planning practices.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70-$87/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
