Job Description

The PLT Area Manager will:

Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

Budget Planning and Accomplishment

Quality Improvements and Defective Product

Process Improvements
    • Qualify / Uniformity
    • Cost Reduction
    • Reduction of Process Variation
    • Lead House Functions

Analyze BOB Process
    • Machine vs. Actual

Analyze Gaps in BOB Process and Propose Capital Investment to close Gaps

Capital Expenditures
    • Project Planning
    • Project Implementation

Run Department day to day operations maintaining efficient low cost, high quality output

Communicate and Review Performance of Direct Reports

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required or 10 years of Supervisory experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Preferred Requirements:
  • Master's Degree

The starting annual salary for this role is $92,500 a year.
