About the team: We're a small Platform Engineering team responsible for the core foundation that powers product development. We support our in-house developers with reliable tooling and self-service platforms, manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure, and drive operational excellence across DevOps, FinOps, and SecOps.
What we need: We're hiring a Platform Engineer (2+ years of professional experience) to help build and operate the core platform that accelerates our software teams and the greater organization. You'll support in-house developers with reliable tooling and self-service, manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure, and lead day-to-day DevOps practices. You'll also drive FinOps to control and forecast spend, and partner on SecOps to harden our environments and keep them compliant-enabling teams to ship quickly and safely.
What You'll do:- Design, build, and operate the internal developer platform and self-service tooling that streamline delivery for engineering teams.
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; improve build reliability, speed, and developer self-service.
- Run infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) to provision, secure, and scale cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Implement and operate observability: metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting; respond to incident and service requests.
- Harden platforms and manage risk: implement security baselines and vulnerability management (SecOps) and optimize cloud spend with cost guardrails and reporting (FinOps).
Skills You'll Need: - Cloud fundamentals (GCP/AWS/Azure); strong foundation in Linux, containers, and basic knowledge of Kubernetes operations
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform); configuration management; Git and code review
- CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.); packaging, artifact, and release pipelines
- Scripting/programming (i.e. Python, Bash); troubleshooting across OS, network, and apps
- Observability (monitoring, logging, tracing); incident response/on-call and reliability practices
- Security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege, vulnerability management, secrets)
- FinOps awareness (cost optimization, budgeting/guardrails); documentation and collaboration
- Experience with the fundamentals of Agentic AI as it applies to Platform Engineering.
Nice to have: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field.
- 2-4 years' experience
