Full Job Description
MDSearch is currently in search of a passionate, full-time or part-time plastic surgeon to become part of a dedicated team in Vancouver. This role involves clinical responsibilities in a state-of-the-art facility by the waterfront in a sought-after district of the city.

The Plastic Surgeon's primary role involves providing specialized care for patients with skin-related issues. Responsibilities include professional patient care, treatment planning, collaborating with referring physicians, coaching the nursing team, adhering to company policies, and fostering communication with patients and staff. High-performing candidates may also have the opportunity for a medical directorship position or equity stake in the company.

Our efficient practice model provides clinicians with:

  • A dedicated team of 4-5 nurses and medical office assistants for streamlined patient care

Role Overview

The primary function of the Plastic Surgeon is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns. The Plastic Surgeon's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide professional patient care at all times and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients
  • Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes
  • Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
  • Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care
  • Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care
  • Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols
  • Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees
  • Potential opportunities for the right candidate may include a medical directorship position and/or equity stake in the company


Role Qualifications

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License
  • Current and active FRCSC certification
  • A strong passion for the medical, surgical, and cosmetic field
  • Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required
  • Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required
