Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager leads plant supply chain activities for the Erwin Manufacturing Complex, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support production and customer demand. This role oversees planning, inventory, warehousing, and logistics while partnering across the business to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the site supply chain function, overseeing production planning, materials management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and material flow to support safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity objectives.
  • Manage and develop the site supply chain team through coaching, performance management, and a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive demand and supply planning processes, including S&OP participation, to align customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, and schedule disruptions.
  • Ensure ERP/MRP discipline, transaction accuracy, and master data integrity to support effective planning and execution.
  • Partner with procurement, suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain material availability, optimize inventory, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Oversee warehousing, material handling, and inbound/outbound logistics operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material movement and customer delivery.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing leadership with visibility into inventory, service levels, operational performance, and supply risks.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning effectiveness, inventory optimization, warehouse operations, logistics efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.


Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials management, production planning, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing operations
  • People leadership experience, including direct management responsibility
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and material flow processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Excel, and supply chain reporting/analytics tools


Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience leading a plant or site supply chain function
  • Experience supporting extrusion, dry blend, and/or die manufacturing operations
  • Experience participating in S&OP, demand planning, or demand/supply alignment processes
  • APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP
  • Lean/Six Sigma training or certification
  • Experience with SAP or another large-scale ERP platform


This position does not support immigration sponsorship.

The range for this position is $135,540.00 - $186,368.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
